Fragging question

I have a large elephant ear that I am wanting to frag. My problem it that he has been in a snail shell since I've had him. (about 1 1/2 yrs) I have never actually fragged anything on purpose. I have super glued a few polyps here and there but thats it. It is very pretty and at least 6in across so I want to make sure I have a good idea of what I am doing before I start. Please walk me through it :maitre

i just got done fragging my elephant ear again last weekend. its pretty easy just cut it with a razor blade and put it in a container with a piece of rubble and it will attach itself in a few days. if you have a lot of current you may have to cover the container so it doesn't escape. i use small tupperware containers but if it is a small frag a shotglass may work

Should I just razor off a piece at the corner? This thing is very thick too, should I do anything to the larger side with the cut?
