Feeding

I have 2 yellow tail damsels and am wondering how much and how often I need to feed them. I have read various things, so I pretty much feed them what they can eat in 5 min. I dont want to overfeed them or starve them. Anyone have any suggestions. Thanks.

I would recommend a every other day feeding very lightly
we feed a varied diet of cyclopeeze , pellets and flake ....
I know you did not ask about this but use caution with the 2 damsels as they can be very agressive to new addetions and each other

also watch out on the compatibility with other fish if plans for more fish and well like sadie said everyother day and a varietion on food is good for them ( :) & health) i do mysis shrimp, pellets, flakes & cyclop eeze. or you can also feed them daily but remember just a tiny bit ...they might look hungry all the time but dont let them fool you.

I would also like to add that its probably better to feed a slightly less amount than too much. Thats a good way to really screw up your water parameters. You'll get it down soon.

I also agree that it is better to feed too little that too much, the fish will find things in the tank to munch on along with your feedings. I also want to point out that a couple of very light feedings is better than one big feeding, alot of the food in a big feeding just ends up in the filter pads and in the skimmer.
