what do you all feed your polyps/mushrooms? and how many times a week? and what do you exactly feed them?

i have never fed my tank tank anything--i was wondering if i need to feed dt's or something like this? my tank is doing well but none of my mushrooms seem to have split and my yellow polyps dont seem to be reproducing-i do have colony polyps that seem to be spreading though
all my parmeters are good--i was wondering if it was due to not ever feeding?

I use phytoplex, zooplex, chromaplex (all made by Kent), and cyclopeeze. I feed the tank one of these at a time maybe twice weekly. I have no exact schedule as to which food I feed, I just vary the menu somewhat trying not to give the same thing every time.

I have a lot of filter feeders in my 15 g. reef tank, so I feed periodically pretty much the same thing as listed in the previous post: DT's Live Phytoplankton, Kent's Phytoplex and Zooplex, and Cyclopeeze, for variety. Try not to overfeed, though, as that will cause major algae blooms.

You can tell when you've fed too much, as a brown algae bloom will ensue. When that happens, shorten your photoperiod a little bit and cut back on what you're feeding to the filter feeders. The brown algae will go away pretty quickly if you do that.

I know my corals (Pulsing Xenia, star polyps, Ricordea, and pipe organ) are happy because they are growing, spreading, splitting, etc... everything corals can do. :)
