hey guys


quick question

for some reason--the water in my nano has been evaporating faster than normal

i figured it would evaporate less during winter months than summer?

is that normal\?

nope just the oppisite in the winter with the heat on it will evap quicker because the dry air is pulling it out, in the summer the humidity is higher so therefore less evap. You could try a humidifier but its just eaiser to top off in my opinion

Yes, it evaporates much quicker in the winter, when the furnace is running.

Look at the good side: You won't need a whole house humidifier. Your tanks will do it for you. My house used to be really dry and I had a terrible time of it. But not anymore, thanks to my tanks!!

But you will have to top off your tanks regularly.
