EMERGENCY CLOWNS DYING!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP!
I haded some zoas to my tank and 2 purpel mushrooms. the mushrooms have given of loads of long threads and have disintergrates. The clowns were acting like a PH crash, out of breath etc
there now in fresh water

What could be wrong. can mushrooms give off a toxic chemical when they die??

they seem alot better now there in fresh salt water but i now need to sort out my tank water......

Theyve developed really bad whitespot to

HELP!

sounds like they have ich.

also, what are the spec's of your tank? Temp, pH, nitrates/nitrites, ammonia, SG, etc. Are you running any carbon or other chemical media? How long has the tank been up and running?

Shrooms, or corallimorphs in general, are pretty noxious but I dont think that is it.

Tanks been running 50 day

I have a fluval 304 for flow which has the standard media in there.

I;ve been puttin teatree oil in there 2drops per day diluted before i put it in!

i would say do a 25 % water change and soak the food in garlic that way if it is ich like jesse thinks it will help treat for that also
