Do Zoa's have sweeper tentacles?

I was doing my afternoon tank gazing and noticed my new gold dust looking zoa's had tentacles coming out from under the polyps! It looked like they were sweeping for food and then they would retract back in. Anybody know what this could be??? The tentacles are clear but seem to move in and out and then graze over the polyps as if giving food. tank parameters are good : Ammonia 0 Nitrite 0 Nitrates 5 and Temp is 80.4

Any IDeas?

I don't think it is actually a part of the zoathids that you are seeing, but possibly a worm of some sort that just happens to be around the zoas.

hmmmm....Should I freak out? I was just looking at it again, it does'nt look like a worm, and now they are fully retracted and have'nt come out.

Nope, stay calm! They are a good part of your clean up crew! If you'll notice over the next few days the area around the 'worm' you are seeing will be very clean, as the tenticles you are seeing reach out and grab stuff from the sandbed and pull it to the main body.
