Diatoms...?

I think these things are called diatoms but anyways there are little green dots on my glass, any suggestions to remove them? Razor blade?

Razor blades work great if you use them carefully and on GLASS only. Old credit cards work wonders too. THey have metal and plastic scrapers you can buy at you LFS too. Most likely is it just a green algae or maybe even a calcerous algae like coraline. A magnet glass cleaner works great too usually.

You could use a razor if it is glass or a algae pad
