Deltec turbo 1250

Theres one up for sale near me for 200. Deltec site says rated upto 200 average but 130 heavy stocking. Considering the room i have in my sump for a skimmer this thing will fit perfectly. Let me know what you guys think. As well if anyone who reads this has used it, how is it? Would you reccomend it?

Sorry, not familiar with that skimmer although I know you cant usually go wrong with Deltec. Any Deltec skimmer that is in good shape and only $200 sounds good to me... How much does that model retail for?

i really wasnt expecting to get one. i just looked at the canadian reef boards in classifieds and saw it.. And jsut jumped all over it not knowing if it was any good or not. I think went and started doing some research and all i cant say is i really cant wait to plop this thing im my sump and turn it on. It the drop in equivalent to your skimmer mike :razz:


by the way whats considered heavy stocking? 20 fish?

It's a powerful skimmer and one of the best on the market; drop in models are cool just set it and forget it...

There are huge threads on RC regarding it's performance...

You've secured the future of your corals and critters with that one... My AP600 doesn't skim anything anymore as it outperformed my tank...

My fish are so happy....
