I was going to take some pics for the pic of the week last night, got my new purchases acclimated, picked up and rearranged some frags, and fed the tank. I went and got the camera, and both sets of batteries were dead. :lol:

I was having all sorts of problems with the batteries last night. I've got two sets, and neither of them wanted to hold a charge. Either I've gotten to the end of their lifespan, (possible), or there's something going on with that charger. I tried changing plugs and that may have helped. I'll know when I get home. I have another charger as well, it's just buried in a box someplace in the garage from the move still. :?

My "rechargeable" batteries for my digital camera never hold a charge. I've changed batteries, chargers and even spoken with the Olympus rep. I just give up. :x

DJ, I keep 2 batteries for my Olympus digital. One stays charged while the other is in use in the camera. I hate it when batteries die in the middle of shooting pics!!

Incysor, a litle late on the congrats, but woo!! Great shot. My blue neon hangs out with my bicolor too. I'll see if I can get a pic for you.

I've got two sets of batteries, and two chargers. I figured out what the deal was last night. With the charger I was using, you have to unplug the charger, put the batteries in, then plug it in. If you take out the newly charged batteries and put in the weak set without unplugging the charger first it doesn't work.

Are your rechargable bats, standard ones or camera specific? My camera takes any AA batteries, so new rechargables are cheap.
