cycling new tank

Im starting a new 2.5g tank and i am completely newbie in this, when cycling do i need to make a water change during this couple week?

Not usually. Just put in your sand and LR, turn on your filter, turn off your lights for until your levels measure 0, and it shouldn't take long.

Yup, no water change usually needed...just patience. The only times I ever have done a cycle water change is when the water gets so brown and dirty you can't see through it...otherwise just leave it until it cycles.

btw did you get your tank cleaned from finger prints?

lol about the tests u guys were talking about, i heared that you should cycle about every 1-2 weeks not twice a week...... whitch one is better/more practicle?

You mean test? I would test every couple days to see if your levels are going down. When everything is zero, the cycle is over.
