SCWD is functioning!, very cool stuff, it really decreased the flow on the fuge but hey thats a good thing and the current comming from the SCWD isn't that strong but thats ok, its close proximity so it will be nice current but it has major circulation, I just barley squeezed that thing in there, I had to grid off the ends of it a little and cut a hole in the acrylic but it fits and works and the heater even fits in that little area, very good stuff, also just got my cooling fan il hook it up soon and fix the hood to fit over the wires cant wait, as soon as some rock and sand gets in there il get you all new pics, can't wait!

ok I need some advice making this tank acropora friendly,im going to move my fluorescents near the front of the hood and make both actinics, then im going to add a double ended 10k MH with two fans one incomming one outgoing so there is no over heating at all, then I figure leave my current pump set up and add a Eheim Aquaball Powerhead- 1212
right behind the right out let from the SCWD and put a timer swith on it, this will make 4 differnt current out lets, the two from the SCWD on wither side of the tank, the power head and the over flow from the fuge, will this work?, im calculating it to cost me $370, uh so much money, is this worth it because I really want acro, and exactly how much gph do I need hitting the acros

Not to be discouraging, but with the amount of flow and light that acros need I think it's silly to even try it over a 2.5gal tank. Even if you can get it enough flow, and keep the temp down, you're only gonna have room for one or two pieces. For the amount of money that you'll have to spend you can put the same money into a 10 gal and be able to keep several more pieces. But then I'm on a budget. If money's no object and you just want to see if it can be done, go for it.

yea well im on budget, think about it im only 16, how much money do i have, no im going to try and sell my ten as is loaded and my new custom tank to my school and get them to pay me to up keep them for them, their cool like that, and im either going to get a 30g breeder tank or a 33g long, i need you guys to help me decide on which one, i think the 30g breeder will be better because its cheaper for lighting

hey anyone on here want to buy this that, iv told you what it has, 18w lighting (9w 10000k, 9w actinic), 10w 6700k for fuge, also has claer acrylic splash guard, built in scwd and 50w brand new out of box visa-therm heater, hagen glass suction cub thermometer, fan cooled hood all wired, matching base and hood, its 4 gallons total, 2.3 display, 1.3 fuge and I forget the ecact specs of the sump because the scwd and heater take up some room in there but its small, built 3/16" glass sides, 1/4" glass bottem, 1/8" black acrylic sectioning with black silicone, its ready to go just add water, sand rock and what ever else you desire, I put a lot fo work into this and a lot of money, its absolutly perfect except the silicone is a little amature around the sump because its small area but that you dont even see, the way the glass is put together it looks like it was done by a machine, im asking $425, for it, remember its a complete reef ready system and will work execelent on a counter, office desk, the out side measure ments are 10" wide and 12" back, iv had it running with tap and no problems at all, ok so the price is $425, let me know if your interested, im posting this in classifieds too
