no I don't really do anything for him. He's just as happy as a clam can be. I've been messing around with fast stone seeing if I can get the colors out of my tank that Jesse was able to get. All of my shots are usually really noisy or really overexposed. Here's another.

Same fish different anemone

Nice! Is that clown overly aggressive? I have two ocellarus clownfish and a green bubble tip anemone. Silly me didn't do my research about ocellarus not favoring green bubble tips. Oh well, they are all beatiful!

I hope Cris doesn't mind me answering for him but that clown is crazy! You cant get near that anemone and he cant feed the anemone without the clown stealing the food! The two blue damsels are even crazier... Cris' fish are psycho! When I was helping him with his tank I had to fend away the fish so that he could move around some of the corals! They are out for blood I tell ya. :chainsaw: :chop:

So stinkin true. I have three extremely dominant fish. The Clown and the 2 damsels. My wrasse and yellow watchman are very mellow and shy. By the way Jesse Coral Oasis has a few yellow watchman in. They look really nice.

So I half assed my frag tank today and got everything down in it. I hope everything goes well with it. I'll get some pics up when Kate gets home. Every time she leaves the house she takes the camera with her.

By the way has anyone ever used chemiclean? I've got so much redslime I'm almost ready to try anything. I was at LFS (Coral Oasis) yesterday and they told me the use it in almost all of their tanks. It says reef safe, invertebrate safe. desirable macro algae safe, nitrifying bacteria and fish safe. Just kills redslime. I know this would be a bandade for the root of the problem but I want to put a bandade on while I'm figuring out the root problem.

Thanks and I'll get a pic up.

Cris, did you use the acrylic tank I gave you? Cant wait to see it.

I dont think I have used chemiclean before. I think it should be okay to use. Have plenty of carbon around just in case.

Cris, how long do your lights run every day? Maybe I can bring over like 20g of RO/Di water and then you could do a bigger water change. The bathtub trick works!

No i didn't use the tank you gave me. just stuck with it the way I already had it plumbed. I still might use that thing underneath for a cuttlefish farm or something. Did you read that article this month. So tempting. My set up is already ideal for it too. I'd just have to reorganize and get some more $$.

I run my actinics from 9 to 10 and my white lights from 10-9. I was thinking about cutting that down a little as well.

I did a 20 gallon water change on wednesday. It seemed to have helped. I think that is the root of my problem. Not keeping up with my water changes. Anyway Yeah if you came over next weekend and brought 20 gallons and that box of Salt all would be swell. bring some more frags to grow too. And bring your razor blades to cut up some of my stuff. I don't have any blades.

Later.

Cris, that looks cool. Yeah I'll try to come by next weekend with the water, salt, and blades and see what we can do.

I don't have any Rics. I'm scared of them actually. I bought a rock with about 10 really nice looking rics and they all died. Have no clue why.

Today was a bad day. I was cleaning my tank and knocked my $70 feeder in and destroyed it. I just bought it on Tuesday I think. So dumb. Then I knocked my Coral life PC light into the frag tank and it's not too happy about it either. Jesse. I think I'm going to need to get one of those T5 fixtures from you this week. Let me know when we can meet up.

Thanks.

Good news. The light fixture is still good. Just got a new bulb today. For some reason no body carries a 28 watt square pin 50/50 PC bulb. Crazy. literally went to 5 LFS's before I got one. I'm going to try to take the feeder back. when I put the batteries in the LCD screen stays blank and the feeder just spins and spins. I've taken it all apart and dried it out wiped it clean but that didn't fix it.

I finally busted out the silver sides again today and everyone loved them. Especially the wrasse and the hairy mushroom.

mouth still all puckered up almost as though it was begging for more.
