Any advice on which bulb to sellect for my fourth would be great. I currently have the white one the deep blue and the medium blue. I don't remember the technical names sorry. actinic +, blue actinic and pure actinic? Don't remember.

Also advice or input for my first SPS the green montipora capricornus?

Thanks.
I would personally suggest 2 ATI blue plus, 1 ATI midday, ! UVL Super Actinic. Lots of PAR, nice blue tint.

The cap was a good choice. It should do fine. Is it already mounted?

OK... I changed all my rock work today.... Here is a new FTS.

Here's a shot of my new rock and my green monti cap frag that I purchased last week. My first SPS.

This is my elephant ear that I've had for a while. I've never posted a picture of it open.

This is a picture from the end of the tank... for a better idea of the depth of the Rock work. not a huge help.....

I forgot to mention a few things. I lost my Anemone this weekend. I think it was due to the fish hosting him. Bob.... My tomato clown. He was always pushing him around the tank and digging out the sand around him. Being that it was a sand anemone he never adjusted well to not having sand to bury himself in. He shriveled up and died. Also... I haven't cleaned out the filter pad thingy covering my pump and I noticed the flow in my tank was quite a bit less then before. I pulled off the filter pad and it sucked my sump dry pumping so fast my return lines couldn't keep up. I had to shut the tank down and clean out everything. That's a lesson I had to learn the hard way. This was after I redid all my rock work so once the flow was back up I had to re locate all my coral. I'm almost really happy with the redesign. I'm going to keep it this way for a little while and see if I come up with any ideas. The fish really seem to like it. There is a bigger barrier between my two clowns so I think it'll be good. oh yeah. I think Bob has already decided to host my frog spawn since he killed his last home.

Here's a pic of my first sps. considering this is my first I really don't know too much about them... let me know if it looks healthy and open enough. I'm hoping it will grow over that middle section that doesn't look to good.

OK so I just added a few fun gadets to my tank which was fun, educational and will definitely help keep my tank up a little better. As well as some new life from our friend Jesse.
This is the fan. 60 CFM. I bought three but it looks like just the one is going to do the trick. My tank has been running consistently at 80 degrees with no fluctuation since I put this under the hood.

This is how I connected it to my computer. I just upgraded my power supply from a 230 to a 550 because my graphics card burnt up the old one. I have enough power to spare with that new power supply. I salvaged some of the connectors off the old one. got some extra wire and wahla...... a very stable temp. much easier than I thought.

I also added an ATO. With a float switch and a battery operated air pump. 20 bucks for both of those and I've learned a good lesson about siphoning, but I'm happy with it for now. I just can't fill the 5 gallon jug above the opening in the hose pouring into the tank. for those who are curious about how I have the flow set up. I have two overflow drains from the main display. (The two 1" clear flex hose on either side of the sump.) Left side I have the skimmer and heater and that flows between the two baffles where a have a little baggy of activated carbon floating. That then pours over the baffle through the white filter media to catch solids and break up the air bubbles. The right side I have about 10 lbs. of sand, 5 pounds of LR rubble and my mangled mess of cheato and calupera. Then that flows into the 1-1/2" white PVC overflow down into the middle chamber and I have a mag 9 hooked up to 1-1/2" PVC going back up to the display. I used a 20 gallon L and acrylic to seperate the chambers. I took the idea for this from a sump I saw on Melevsreef.com I will probably do it differently for my next tank. There is a lot of water flowing through this thing. I don't want more flow in my tank then what I have. about 790 GPH but I have little control becuase it's all coming from the one pump.

Some new inhabitants and some new pics of old ones.
New mushroom and xenia from Jesse

I've had this frog spawn for 4 months and its doing really well. Started with two heads and now has five.

Candy cane from Jesse.

elephant ear is doing really well. got it at the same time as the frogspawn. New crocea from Jesse

My little sexy who needs a friend. I've had him for about 3 months.

I've had these mushrooms for a little while.... Anyone know what kind they are?

Neon Green Toadstool from Jesse.

I have more that Jesse gave me, but don't have any good pics of them. I'm just really happy that I didn't lose anything. Jess you'll be glad to know that everything is thriving. Except that one Candy Cane that didn't look so good. It still doesn't look so good.

cool jesse had some cool stuff - glad to see it got a good home!
Yeah..... I think he sold a bunch of it off, all the sps and the rockstar supernovas and then brought me in to finish it up. I was stoked when he offered it to me.

Hey Cris, glad to see that the clam is doing well. I saw your other pictures too. Your tank looks good.
Thanks. You still need to come over and check it out..... give me some pointers.... and help me figure out the best way to add a little area to keep frags down in the sump. That vermitid snail on the side of the clam is doing well also. I was able to position the clam so that his webbing wouldn't touch the mantle and bother it. Have you found a new place to live? I'm not sure if you've recieved my PM's about those apt.'s.

Awesome.... I guess I ended up with some frags of yours after all.

Any recommendations for getting all these zoa's off the plugs and safely on to my LR?

I added a little area above my sump for some frags just to try and clean up my display. So far it's working out pretty well.

Also added a phosban reactor to see if this would help get rid of that hair algae. I'm starting to get a little bubble algae as well.

nice little frag tray
start the GFO slowly a couple tablespoons at most and then build up, although i have never had trouble with it some have claimed system shock from adding too much too quickly - better to be safe
