Closed loop....thoughts?

I am still in the design and research phase of my up coming nano tank and I am interested in possibly doing a CL system for better flow and to also keep as much stuff out of the tank. I have included a pretty elementary paint shop drawing to be critiqued to make sure that I have it right and to get suggestions.

So it seems pretty self explanatory but I will go ahead and list everything anyways.

1. Intake to pump
2. Pump
3. SCWD
4. Returns

Pretty simple it seems....maybe too simple? Am I missing anything? This will most likely be on a 20L tank. Any thoughts or recommendations on the pump, flow rate, changes to the design, anything? As far as filtration I am going with a HOB AC 110 fuge setup. Thanks for any advice you can give.

Jesse AKA "Reefman23" had a tank very similar to this. It had a sump though instead of a closed loop. you should check out his SPS 20L tank in the 20 and under forum. He had a SCWD on it at one point, but I think ended up taking it off because it reduced the flow way to much.

Your plan sounds good to me but as for how much flow and all that Jess would be much more help.

Good luck.
