okay guys- i know i posted a similar post a few months back but i didn't get any responses

my question is pretty much that every night when my lights go out, i have one rock which these clear/white gummy worm looking worms pop out and strecth out trying to grab some sort of debris/food. they never leave there rock/hole that they are in--it like a spaghetti comes out and goes back into the hole

kinda hard to explain but does someone kind of understands?
lol

there must be like 7-8 throughout this one rock in my tank . they strecth out pretty long from there hole. maybe like 1-2 inches---they are so weird and freaky

anyone have an idea what they are or could be
:pom

I have them too and they are common in tanks. Here is the bad part. I looked them up sometime ago and now I forget what they are called. I do remember they are harmless.

I have those, too. They are harmless, and a good part of your clean up crew. Spaghetti worms!

Their "arms" are sticky, and as they sweep them around outside their rock, they pick up bits of detritious, food, etc. and bring it back to their rock. Inside the rock is the body of the worm. Nothing to worry about.
