Central America Trip - any suggestions?

Hey guys,
I'm heading to Central America (Nicaragua, Costa Rica & Panama) on a snorkeling/surfing trip and I was wondering if anyone had any snorkeling recommendations? I've been to Costa Rica twice before and had some great snorkeling on the Caribbean side. This time I'm exploring the Pacific side and hope to find some good spots. Let me know if you've ever been before and what you liked.

Hello all. im in an internet cafe right now...glad to see there has not been any peeing in reef tank talk going on as of yet

I´m in san juan del sur which is an awesome surf town of the pacifico side of nicaragua. we slept with no electricty or water last night....very hot.

woke up at 3 am by a pack of howler monkeys but it was cool. went snorkeling as well today. check back in later

Hola everyone. Its been a great trip so far. Been sea kayaking, surfing, boogie boarding, zip lining through canopies, white water rafting, etc...I actually lost my snorkeling equipment in a kayaking collsion so thats been a bummer. Today while walking out in some tide pools I saw some cool little blennys, tons of Halmedia, brains, a cool clam that I couldnt id and some awesome blue zoos. These things were incredible. I´ve never seen color like these. I might try to rent some gear a snorkel tomorrow when the rain dies down a little. Maybe I can even get a pic or two. Take care. Ahhh, finally back. It was a great trip and towards the end, I got some excellent snorkeling in on the Caribbean side of Panama near the Bocas island chain. I will post some pics when they get developed. The reefs were in excellent shape and had tons of variety and color. Simply amazing. Anyways, glad to be back and AC is a real treat. Will share pics and stories in a few weeks. Let get things rollin again \/
