Hello everyone, I am comming here from another site. This one specializes in nano tanks, and that's just what I have. I have a 12G FOWLR eclipse that I want to give my mother who is comming to visit this weekend. I bought a 12G Nano cube that still has to cycle. I have given most of my stock back to the LFS, but here is my question. Can I put my a few of my hermits and my emerald crab and a couple single feather dusters into my tank that is cycling without screwing with the cycle or killing them? I am just curious because things hitchhike, so could I just act like these were hitchhikers in my new tank? Thank you for any response.

How long has the nanocube been set up, did you use fully cured live rock, are you testing the water parameters, ie nitrates, nitrites, ammonia? The hermits shoudl be okay, the crab as well. Depending on how far along the cycle is, the feather dusters should be too.

I would test the water, dont do a water change until the cycle is wrapping up, then to a water change and add the inhabitants that you have. All shoudl be fine.
