bullying fire gobie

I have two fire gobies, recently I have noticed one stays in his little cave most of the day, and when he does venture out the other one bullies him! Any idea's how to solve it? I thought of a small breeding tank in the main tank and putting the bully in there for a day or two.

It kinda sounds like you may have a pair of males that are fighting over territory. I have heard that adding one or two more will stop the squabbling or maybe you could try trading the meaner one in and hopefully get one with a sweeter disposition.

Sorted, took it back to the lfs he is keeping it for a couple of days to make sure it's ok then refunding my money..
