Building a tank

Hey skipm, any progress on building your tank? Or you Sadielynn? My project has stalled with the arrival of some of the stuff I was waiting on for the 140. My pace has actually slowed on both projects now. Spring has sprung and some other pressing issues outdoors have come up as well. Too many plans and too little time. :)

This is what my 140 project looks like at the moment.

Thanks. I am trying to get a lot of stuff under there without it looking too messy and junked up. The reservoir will probably have to be moved out next to the tank or I am considering a direct hook up for my RO/DI unit inside the stand.

VERY clean!!! OUtstanding work. It is so rewardig to see a project come together like this. Keep it up! Jesse
Thanks. I wish I could claim it as my work, but this is mostly the genius of Jeff Turcheck at LifeReef. A true acrylic artisan. I couldn't believe how nice this stuff was when I finally got it out of the boxes. Jeff is also a master at packaging. I have never received stuff packed this well.

Sadielynn, I understand what you are saying. I need two of me to go around. :) I do have a vacation coming up next month and hope to make a lot of progress on my tanks by then. In hopes of getting them both up and running either before or during that time.

I was just curious to see if you or Skip had gotten any further along with your tank building. Keep us posted.

I too have had other dogs barking much louder. I have to get things ready for houseguests and it seems like a million other things. I'll post when I do make some progress which will hopefully be soon.

I put together that same 12" cube tank. It went together real nicley. I have had water in it for about 3 mo. now and love it. Great surface area and room for good looking LR. Have fun building it and just take your time.

I am runing it with a whisper 30 trickle and 2 60 GPH mini powerheads oposing each others flow... oh what a great chaotic current I have in there!
