Tank.

I have found on the web and once built my own tank using wood and glass. i Have also tried lining the wood with pond liner and plexi glass.

Has anyone ever made a Nano in this same way?

I think i might like to try it...if i do i will take pics of the building process.

I'd like to see that. I have a small, very small 2.5 gallon sitting empty, it has no light fixture on it or anything but i could probably rig something up. I want to try a smaller nano :D

thanks, yeah right now they are both running, although the big tank is having major problems!

i had an AGA 10gal, and then when i built the custom acrylic tank, i put the 10gal under it as a sump, still full of live sand ( i used new sand in the new display tank). well the sump cracked, and i replaced it yesterday with a new tank, which is bare bottomed, with baffles installed. i guess all that live sand had alot of algae or something in it, cause my tank water is green now!!!! i put 2 cups of live sand from the broken sump into the new sump today, and am running one of those spiral lightbulbs over it 8am-12midnight to inspire some algae to grow, and fast! i wish the LFS sold macro, i guess i can always stop in and see if they have any they want to get rid of although they don't have anything displayed. I just moved my xenia to the pico tank, because it looked horrible.

the smaller tank is also running, although its only 2 weeks old i think, maybe alittle more. its basically waiting for me to get some cash so that i can populate it with some coral and maybe a clown goby, at the minimum a clean up crew though, i'm in the brown algae stage right now.
