Brown button-like polyp?

What are the two little brown things center-left behind the Halimeda algae? They grow on little stalks, but that doesn't show up well in the pic.

I've had them come in as hitchhikers before.

I'm in luck! It has been turning green over the past few days.

the green buttons are kinda cool - especially under actinic lighting
not high dollar in many peoples eyes but i like them

Here it is. Not the greatest coral in the world, but worth more to me than if I had paid a hundred bucks for it since it just appeared out of nowhere in my first reef tank.

Had some do just like yours when I bought my first live rock...I have two polyps...just what I started with over a year ago...still like those...

Try feeding them a tiny piece of meaty food and see if they accept it

My ones catch and eat bbs and bloodworms etc. and keep growing, but don't yet reproduce or bud or whatever they do.
