blue legged hermits

Background: My tank is five weeks old.
I added some hermits and snails last week. My question is how do I feed the hermits. I read that I can offer a algae sheet every other day, would I just attach it to a clip and place it on the bottom of the glass? I'm trying to wait at least eight weeks before I add a fish, so theres no extra food for them to eat.

that is what i do ...(not so often tho...or just a little bit) they will eat it...plus they like lancefish, which i clip for them as a treat (just part of one, not a whole one)

You can take whatever food you want to feed anf rubberband it to a small piece of LR and place it on the bottom where the hermits can get to it, you can also easily remove it if you feed too much.

Now that I think about it I have some pellets that were made for feeding hermits. One or two of them a day should be fine. The sanils can eat whatever is leftover and they will also graze on algaes as they grow.
