Best path to a career in 3D modeling for movies?

I’ve been practicing digital sculpting for a while, but I want to get into the professional film industry in Canada. I’m looking for an intensive program that focuses on actual production pipelines and helps build a high-end portfolio. Any personal recommendations for a good school?

If you want to go pro, I’d highly suggest Vancouver Film School. I have a friend who just finished their Animation (Advanced Diploma), and the quality of his portfolio is now top-tier.
