:welcome to the board.
The biggest problem I see is that these fish are usually recommended to be kept in groups of 3 or more. I personally have a single spotted cardinal (pajama cardinal) in a tank with a pair of false perculas and a yellow watchman goby and have no problems at all. I guess this could be one of those things where it depends on the individual fish but it should be a doable thing.

i don't mean to contradict...but if they cannot be kept in huge shoals, as in the wild...they should be in pairs...if you put 3 or more in the tank, they will often pair up then attack any others, and harass them till they die...so a pair is best
