baking soda ~ to ph

does any one out there use baking soda to increase their ph
ours was running low and was wondering if any one uses it
what ratio do you follow of baking soda to h20

ph was at 8.0 lights out
and 8.0 lights on both were tested 2 hours after lights out and 2 hours lights on I have no way of checking alk this week but will have lfs run a full panel
I did dose alittle baking soda today and the ph went to 8.4 with aprox 100cc iv fluid over a period of 3 hours

I use baking soda all the time since its soooo much cheaper than additives. The trick is to mix it with fresh RO/DI water and let it dissolve and then add it to your tank as topoff water.

Baking soda is one of the pulldown options in the menu. Start with less than you think you need then test and repeat the next day until you get it where it should be.
