AUTO TOP OFF DEVICES

I know that somewhere in the forums is the answer to my question, and I did search for awhile without finding the answer, so I hope that it won't be too much trouble for someone to suggest a good Auto Top Off device that won't break the bank. I have a 29G BioCube that I am having trouble maintaining the water level, especially when I get busy and fell to check often enough.

Try to find a used JBJ ATO. If that is too expensive, go for something like this... http://www.aquahub.com/store/product26.html

I personally use the JBJ ATO but I found it used for $50. I love it and it is worth the money. All you need is a pump like an MJ or AquaLifter and it plugs right into the ATO unit.

Jesse/Erik, As I have already mentioned, I have the 29G BioCube so I do not have a sump for the JBJ ATO to pump the water from to replace the evaporated water in the tank. What do you suggest to use instead of a sump?

Well you dont really need a sump, just something like a 3g/5g bucket or something similar. Do you have room in the stand or next to your tank?

Yup, I use a 5 gallon bucket. Works pretty good and is cheap with a great handle.
