Cycle completed after a week. I dropped 3 mushrooms and a few zoa frags from my 6G. Of course, I did multiple dips before I transfered them into the tank. They are doing fine and have opened up beautifully. I'm going to wait another week before I buy a clean up crew.

Can you find the zoo's?

you need to spray paint over the Eclipse logo on the front . Excellent setup and nice DIY skills and progress. Can't wait to see it fully stocked

Trogdor - Lol  I actually thought about removing the eclipse logo with a blow dryer/hot gun. I thought if I heat it up long enough, it would just peel off. but I didn't really put much effort into it and I didn't want to damage the canopy so I just left it as is. Maybe I'll give it another try later on but good call and thanks for the comments!

Eddy - I've got about 10 or 11 frags in this tank but didn't post all of them because most of them came out crappy.

Salty - Thanks! I remember seeing a 3 gallon eclipse just like mine on nano-reef but it actually had drilled overflow and return holes and I believe a 5 gallon sump. Could that be the one you're talking about?

I dont think so, It was a little larger set up then yours I think it was a 12g but the amount of mods the guy did was incredible. Every thing was very clean like yours, I belive the guy builds computers and sustome cases for pc so he does all his own pre-fab work.

I do belive he did have a sump plumbed in to it also.

I'm fully stocked! :lol3: And well it may not look like it, I've got about 15 frags including the shroom. I threw in one nassarius snail one blue legged hermit for now.

I've got a nasty bloom of hair algae on the rocks. Some or bushy and others look like weeds. Any suggestions? I'm hoping that my paired clean up crew will do the job.

So far so good, all of my zoo's have opened and look very happy.
still debating if I should put some fish in this tank. I know I want a shrimp but not sure what kind yet.

Thanks for looking!

UPDATE:

I had to remove my ATO. I had shaved the floating sensor so thin that it failed to raise the magnet within and overflowing the tank. Luckily, I was in the room when it happened and was able to shut it off. About 1 liter leaked onto the floor. I do have hard-wood flooring so clean up wasn't as bad. I now manually top off every 2 days :cryinga: .

I still have yet to put the fuge into use. No chaeto yet. Just rubble

Here are some new pictures:

Thanks for the comments guys. There's a lot more macro growing on the live rock then when it was in my 6g.

Jason - I don't know the name of the macro but it's pretty interesting to watch it grow. Here's one in my 6g that's been growing for about 3 months now.
