Aquarium Systems - Protein Skimmer Mod?

Hi - A friend of mine hooked me up with an Aquarium Systems skimmer. Its a nice insump skimmer (compact too). Its doing a great job as it is. It also hs a maxijet pump on it.

However, it is not a needle wheel. Is there anyway to modify that? I know there are some needle wheel impellers out there but I can't seem to locate any good info or a place to buy one.

Any suggestions?

At one time there was a thread over on ReefCentral about adding a needlewheel to a MaxiJet.

Hmm. Sadly they don't allow "regular" members to search so it would be imposible to find.
