Hey reefers just wanted to share this i already submitted to zoaid.com but well....

2months ago i so the insides of my LUNAR ECLIPSE coming out like something was making the insides coming out of the zoas so i was like weird nudie's or something check nothing so i inspected couldnt see nothing then i so something coming out so i was like maybe a kind of POD or mysis or something but nothing colony never got better so i did the IODINE FRESHWATER DIP and guess what this little creature came out the size is really tiny you can see a hair in one or two in the pic it look like a ISOPOD or something withought legs but anyways you'll see pics so anyways i let it go then 2 months later (NOW) i so my red zoas (really nice by the way) to have the same problem but also sow a asterina irritating them so i was ok dip (as always do when zoas dont open for 2 days plus i recommend doing it!) so guess what does things again so i was thats it i should take pics and warn my zoaholics friends just in case they dont know what is happening and something to look forward  J/K a really nightmare cause you can hardly see him they are really really tiney.... pics look so so but i did my best with my 105mm micro lense...

Ok, guys you warned and did anyone had seen or kill this thing before???? or do u reconize them do they have a name??

i have seen AMPHIPODS,COPEPODS,ISOPODS AND ETC ETC... and non of them looks like this thing and well is almost close to the size of a copepod maybe double the size but still really small...AND CLEAR LOOKING THING JUST RED BELLY..AND IN THE PIC IS A HAIR SO U SEE THE SIZE

I know i thought so too and well they do look like one Erick so thats why a didnt put attention at all so this second time and if im sure it was the cause of the death of zoa yeah im quite sure and well at the other sites i posted too and there alot that had the same problem but didnt posted anything cause the size of this bugs are really small and hard to take pics off...also mentioned that some had them and not even with iodine & freshwater dip they wont die and i know that too they seem pretty hardy...

yea from the pics it definitly look crustacian like, very isopod looking - but the infinate variety of this worlds evolutionary path is incredable and the common "pillbug" garden isopod and this beasty have very different nich`es - ed those pics are awesome and scary just another thing to look out for. uggggggg!!

These look like skate bugs (my term as the technical one escapes me), mine stay in the sand and most unseen, until I move a rock and actually watch the sand. Common in most tanks actually. Used to have a link for them, rshimek.com/odd_critters I believe, but it is no longer valid. I will keep looking to see if I can find another site.

Found it, yay! They are called sand skaters, so I wasn't to far off. According to the piece on them, it says that they are not common, they are in my tank.

Uhhh thx i already check the site and well guess im gifted on having this weird bugs lol but they are exactly as the ones mentioned in RONSHIMEK but also dont see anything that says that will eat zoanthids and im completely sure they were doing that and no cleaning cause 2 different colonies were attacked in same time and does were the only creatures that came out well some other pods too but that was it!..

I have never had them attack my zoa's, just usually cleaning up around them, when they are seen but mostly stay near or in the sand. Hope you find the answers you are looking for.

Yeah hopefully cause well one colonie was right in sand bed the one i couldnt save, but the recently one they attack was in the middle of the tank really far away from sand bed so who knows i might be wrong but when they attacked the first colonie they were inside of the polyp the polyp was opened but when i look on the base it had a hole and brown stuff coming out so i pinch inside and this things came out and then back in so thats why i dip and kill them and so 3 then 1 month later this red zoas found another 2... so see what happens...
