Another Clean-up Crew Question

Hi everyone

I have searched the site and have and continue to read all kinds of great issues.. :maitre Thanks to everyone for the information. I have another question about Clean-up Crew can someone tell me what I should get for my 12 gal. JBJ DX, and also is there a place that I can get a Nano Pak Clean-up Crew deal?

After spending lots of time today reading this site and others I have come up with a list of critters that I think would be an excellant Clean-up Crew. What do you all think? and where is the best place to get them.. My LFS sucks.. :roll: :cry:

5 - Nassarius Snails
5 - Astrea Snails
5 - Cerith Snails
4-5 Scarlet Hermit Crabs
1 - Skunk Shrimp.

IMO

5 small Nassarius
2 astrea
i have found nerite snails are better grazers.....5
6 scarlets
if you can find a small skunk it would work, but if not i would go with a small peppermint

i think your decision is fine Arlogout but do like drty small nassarius... skunk shrimp??? are you sure a cleaner shrimp will look better and is great for cleaning not only left overs but parasites too.....and also i think 2 cerith will be enough... i second you opinion drty the astreas seems to be hard workers so you really want does in your tank...

I don't feel the crew is complete without a few blue leg hermits and maybe an emerald crap. Just remember to get them on the small size.

I would personally go with a handfull of blue legs rather than the scarlets...i tend to have agression problems with the scarlets and have read some unfavorable info on them in reputable reef books.

So what would be the best list to find at your LPS. I really want a cleaner shrimp and emerald crab for sure.

reallly so then im glad that my blue's killed all the scarlet if im not wrong you different experience with hermits ha jesse ..... yours killed all the blues. :lol:... too bad that you dont leave close cause im want to get rid of 2 blues.... too many...

this one works, its just my opinion that you get blue legs rather than scarlets....thats all.
