Anemone?

i was wondering what kind of anemone this is and if i should get rid of it or not and about the snail.

Anyway I think it is a type of tube anemone. Very similar to the waratah anemone.

I have had one of these in my tank for a few years. It lives in a dark spot. They don't like direct light. They need lots of food tho', feed 2-3 times a week.

Yeah I spotted several of those inbetween rocks and stuff. Didn't touch any of them, they looked a little dangerous. Considering what you said before about them though I might have to grab a few next time I'm there.
