Anemone Pico Reef 2.5

Well made the big move tonight and moved the anemone rock over into the 2.5 gallon pico.....

How do things look today now that the stress of being moved is over?

Well little by little the 2.5 pico anemone tank is taking shape. Today I added another rock(flower) anemone, a BTA and a tank raised clown. Here are a couple of pics. The BTA is just in and hasn't opened up yet, the rock(flower) is looking good and I had to take a full tank shot, with flash to get the clown.....

here is a pic of the mini carpets on the rock, they are really starting to take on color. My new bulbs arrive tomorrow and I think they will really help.

I really like the way this tank is developing. The anenomes look pretty happy in their new abode. Keep us updated please.

Looks like the Bubble Tip Anemone is starting to want out of the cup....

Isn't the BTAs known for roaming a tank until they find a spot that they are comfortable in?

Just wondering what the damage can be to the carpets or flowers. I love the tank, don't get me wrong, I'm just curious.

Have you given any more thought to an anenome crab or shrimp? I think this would be the perfect set-up for either one.

did get two type of anemone crabs along with the BTA, the crab hangs on the outside of it. The were out of anemone shrimp, when I placed the order, but when I order again, you can be sure I will be getting some. :lol:

The BTA has come out of the cup and is on the move.....it is on the glass now and has opened well past the 2 to 3 inches, that I was told it was when I bought it......

Sounds like the BTA is happier in the 2.5, maybe getting better light.

The damn bubble tip anemone has found a home on the side glass and doesn't want to move to the bottom, it's blocking the view of half the tank. The green rock anemone has pretty much moved behind the big carpet anemone rock and the little clown doesn't seem at all intrested in the bubble tip.

Bit other than that all is just great!!! :razz: :razz:

I will try and get a quick pic and let you see why I am so pissed!!! :mrgreen:
