Aerating

Does anyone aerate their 12 g tanks. i was thinking about that last night and figured i should look into it. Ive got some calearpa in there which helps add oxygen to the water but would that be enough?
The tanks has recovered quite well since my big crash and everything looks pretty good. Just trying to stay on top of things.

With the water current most of our tanks have, aeration occurs on the top of the water. If you see ripples on the surface of the water then more than likely enough oxygen is in your water.

Thanks Tim. I was wondering of that could have contributed to some of the propblems ive had. I just wanted to make sure.
