That would be sweet. I've got 65w on my 5.5 and its bright as hell. It would be cool to have a bunch of clams in the little 6 gal...that is until they get big.

I have some croceas in my 15 gallon with two 55watt PC and two 26 watt PC bulbs in there. There are a lot of people out there who would say Metal halide only for clams, but I disagree. Especially in a 6 gallon, the clams would be so close to the lights, that they would probably do really well! IF you want SPS and clams, go with the 96 watt, that would be great!

I'm going to have to suspend it from the ceiling...which means finding an epoxy to glue little hooks onto the top of it. Anyone have any suggestions on a nice, strong epoxy that will withstand the heat, and be able to hold up 5.5 pounds all the time?

Alot of good 2 part epoxies would work. JB Weld is a great 2 part epoxy. You can probably find it at a hardware store

Yep, JB Weld is awesome. I actually used it once to fix some rust holes in the gas tank of my moped. The stuff works good and is cheap.

Could you not use small eyebolts instead? I think it would be more secure if you could.

I've got a AGA 5.5 with three 32w PC bulbs. It has SPS and Clams. The light is not the problem, the heat is. I've got a Ice Probe in a AC mini to combat the temps and it works great.
