Eddy,

Thanks for the comment. I actually got lucky with this piece of rock, it's full of some other coraline algae and had a mix of button polyps and shrooms. I picked it up because after seeing Sadie's blue dot mushrooms, I always wanted a set...

I only paid $38 dollars for the rock which in my opinion is a deal since the rock by itself is really heavy at least 3 lbs...

With summer right around the corner I wanted to add some additional type of cooling to my Metal Halides; I run two 150 watt HQI over glass tops...

I found two 4 inch fans at Target, only $5.99 per fan. I then purchased an extension cord that would connect both of them to my RK2. It's on a timer with the lights...

End result is the glass staying warm to the touch instead of baking hot; a noticeable difference...

Here are the pics:

Here is the number: (510) 317-9389. You need to ask for Dean, he's the manager if you get the owner his name is Ivan...

Dean sold me the rock with shrooms, just let him know you'd like to see his selection on Ebay...

Let him know I referred you, you'll get better service, :)

Mike, Your tank gets better and better each time. I wanted to check out that Great Bay Aquarium since I'm in Hayward once a week but I saw on Craigslist that they were closing down. Did they close down or move?

I still can't get over how much corraline you have. How do you do it? Nice vids by the way
money and endless equipment doing the work for him.

He loves things that serve the purpose of doing it "automatically" If they invent anything that does automatic water changes, Mike will be the first to buy it.

For most that want purple coraline algae the manual way, you'll need some calcium additives and a test kit to see where your levels are at each time you dose.

believe me, if I had the money I'd probably have equipment do it for me as well!!!

Hey good luck with the move. I'll be doing the same thing within the next year and will watch your account of the process with great interest.

I moved three tanks to two different houses in four months...that was really stressful (and time consuming). You have to have patience and someone around to help with things.
