24g nano, skimmer? led light?

Hello, Im the new guy here. I just decided to upgrade my 3 gallon pico to a 24g nano. I picked it up used for almost nothing and i found out that the fans in the hood dont work. I odered the parts that i needed from jbj and im just waiting for them in the mail. In the mean while i have live sand and rock in the tank for the cycle for about 2 weeks now. My question is has anyone used a skimmer on this system? If so what make and model and review?I know they have for the 28g but not the 24. also i saw some one install a blue led strip in the hood. does anyone know anything about this? or maybe another idea for more moon light?. thanks

I believe you can get right information if you search in google. Even I studied all details from net and used them in my home. They are working fine
