Well finally I picked up a small clean up crew (5 tiny hermits,5 Astrea snails,2 narcissus snails and an emerald crab)
my tank has been cycled for about 10 days. There is some green algea started and to day I noticed some cyno spots. I am wondering about the cyno. With nothing in the tank and the return pump and a Hydor #1 with flow I didnt expect to see Cyno starting.
Any thoughts would be great.
By the way water tests are all zero and the PH is 8.2

I like several sources of flow as opposed to just measure how much water is moving. Get a nice broad base of flow and try to address any *dead zones*. What is your source water?
