This fall we have decided to combine the months of October and November into one huge Fall Contest! The theme of the fall contest is for you to show us your favorite tank inhabitant photo. Each NT member can submit one 800 X 600 photo from their tank. Corals, fish, inverts or just about anything will work. This is a nice broad theme so everyone can compete. It will also give members a chance to really get creative. Try to incorporate corals, livestock or other interesting parts of your reef into the photo. The member's photo with the most votes will receive a New 6 gallon Nanocube!
The winner of the fall contest will be asked to provide a short write-up about their tank to submit to the site. It will be featured on the front page of Nanotank.com for about a month. It will also be featured on the Aquabuys.com site.
This is a really exciting prize for our website and we hope to generate a lot of competition. Please read over the rules very carefully as some items have changed since the last contest.
How it works:
The deadline for submitting your photo is November 13, 2005. All forum members will vote on the entries to determine the best photo until midnight CST November 30, 2005. The member with the most votes is the winner. In the event of a tie, the member with the highest post count (the more active member) at the end of the voting period will be the winner. Aquabuys.com will ship the prize to the winner's address if located in the continental United States.
The rules:
Only photos from tanks 20 gallons and under in size will be considered. Please submit only one photo from your tank. The photo must be taken of your personal tank. No photoshopping or color altering of any kind is allowed. You must be an active member of Nanotank.com and have at least 15 posts on the site before the final voting day to enter. Site sponsors cannot enter the contest. Aquabuys.com will only ship to the continental US. If the winner resides elsewhere, they are responsible for their own shipping. I reserve the right to change/modify/cancel any part of this contest at any time for any reason. Nanotank.com & Aquabuys.com reserves the right to display your photo or use it in any means it so desires from that point forward.
