nice tank. Keep an eye on that long tentacle plate. They expand really big, and if their tentacles can reach toward other corals, they'll bring it down and sting and wreak havoc on them. I learned that lesson the hard way, but I did take it back and got a short tentacle plate :)

Hope yours works out for you.

Tanks looking great . I would rehome the starfish as a small tank does not offer enough food and they will eventually starve to death, he may also knock over rocks and corals  You also seem to be moving too fast has the tank had a chance to cycle ?
Also good point here. I had one in my 6, which led to his transfer to my girlfriends 12, and from there, when his food diminshed, he started loosing limbs...I gave him over to my friend's 40 gallons, and it's re-cooperating. Although very good for stirring up the sand, they dont stand a chance for surviving in smaller tanks like ours.

Your doing a nice job just remember what everyone says about letting it cycle :) Also is that piece on the back of the tank were the water returns a stock piece? My wifes nano does not have that and the water always moves in a clockwise direction which is not so good. Best to be able to change your current direction a little. Let me know if about that

thanks

Hi jeff, i think u talking about the spraybar right? I`m using it for a while and is working very well, but i had to change the original pump (106GPH) for 230GPH Maxi-jet because the spraybar holds the pressure and l coudn`t use the JBJ surface skimmer, now is working good.
