Wow...That looks really good. I'm having a hard time telling if the back of the hood is completely open or not. If not you might need to put in a small fan.

How long did it take you?

Back is half open as you can see in the first image.

I just mounted a small PC fan hope that will help. If not i was thinking of keeping only 2 lights instead of 3.

everything from design and cut to Stain and dry about 3 days, but on and off working.

You did a great job. It looks good. Since the back is open you may not need a fan at all, but I'm sure it'll be fine with one.

Wow!!! The effort you did is awesome.....Nice job...But I'm curious to know, is the hood heavy? Wouldnt that create stress on the tank? Otherwise nice job... :D

Master Er The hood is not Heavy.

hooterhead I painted the interior Glossy (Enamel) white, so that I don’t have to put any Reflector, If I have to I will. Let me know.
For the stocking I did not decide yet (I know its funny) but this is my first time in this so, Recommendation will help me if any.

no i was just wondering. you probably have plenty of light in there with the three bulbs. usually reflectors are just there to get all the available light from the bulb to the tank. i'd go with a bunch of supercolor zoanthids. a tank that small will really look nice with a lot of color. my 5 is full of frags that i find at LFS's. you can really FULLY stock a tank that small for just a little money. keep us updated on it!

Nice, clean looking canopy. I like the moonlight as well. Is there going to be any kind of splash shield between the lights and the water?
