Thank you for the comliment :) dont worry you will get there :) I know what you mean about patients is my weak point but I am learning them kinda quickly kind of an oxymoron  Jebo makes it . This tank has the over flow of corals from the 7 gallon which is far and few between  it primarily was set up as a hospital tank that end up as a reef there are only 3 or 4 corals in it

amf82380,
Let us know what you think of them after ordering. I have thought about making an order as well but have too many loose ends to tie up first.

Sadie,

What kind of clown did you get to host the anemone? Is that a clarki, saddleback or sebae?

I'm still waiting for dragons two ocelleris to host my haddoni carpet, I think it's going to be a long time.

My clown in the 2.5 is I believe sebae clown , maybe a clarkki
He took to it right away and was saddened by his loss of his buddy . The percs that we have showed absolutley no intrest in the anemone . I think the sebae tends to host faster . Try a laser pointer at night and point it out to the clowns , our percs followed it to the hammer and started to play with the hammer while we used the pointer , the first time we did that they followed it around the tank , becareful not to get their eyes but it is fun to watch them chase it and to see them find stuff they never knew was there  they have remained intrested but still have not hosted . I am not sure if it will work for you but it is worth a try

I took another look at your clown and from what I've been reading it's not a Sebae but a Clarki.

The clarki has three bands whereas the sebea only has two; if you look at the pic the third line picks up right at this tail.

I've heard Clarki's will host rather quick just like sebeas, wish I had waited for the clarki but I'm stuck with the ocelleris, they are neat looking but rather picky.

Sadie,

Here are two pics of each clown:

Clarki

Notice that he has a white line at his tail, giving him three stripes.

Sebea

Notice that this guy only has two bands and nothing at his tail.

Mine has the 3 white stripes but also has a white line on the top fin he is more black and white than black white and yellow his shape is more that of the seabe than the clarkki
I got some pics that I will down load tonight actually mine looks closest to the seabe but his tail is also black the only yellow on him is a bit on the fins and around the lips

I think you might have the saddleback clown, which closely resembles both.... I will try to find a good pic of the saddleback clown and post...

I was told at my LFS that alot of times LFS sell Clarkii clowns as Sebaes, he said that the Sebaes were more rare and harder to find.
