are they fully grown, and how big did you say they where?

Yep they're fully grown. Fully expanded the largest one I've seen is slightly less than the size of a nickel. Most are the size of a dime or less.

When they're all contracted down, they're about the size of a pencil eraser.

the tulips i got from incysor are doing great except they dont extend like the ones in either pic....they pretty much stay close to the LR and the tenticles dont extend either, they stay short and fat. anybody have any suggestions....why?

How long have you had them in your tank? They might just need to time to get adjusted.

they tulips have been in my tank for about two weeks now....your probaly right, they just need some more time to adjust. should have some pics soon.

With them being in your tanks for 10 days I would expect that they're probably acclimated. It may be that they're getting plenty of food/light so they aren't 'reaching' for it. Or it could be that they're getting a lot more light, are a little burned and recovering.

the smaller of the two i got from you incysor....looks more like a bubble tip than a tulip, but its probably just because of the light and the short time its been in my tank.

They were both under 96w in the tank I took them out of, but they're in a 40g cube, so they're MUCH further away from the light than in your tank. Just give them a little time and they should be fine. When I originally got mine it seemed to take them a while to settle in. They're so small, I thought I'd lost all but one of them, because they moved, and it took me awhile to find them.
