Hi, started this D&D (JBJ label for Europe) tank about 3 months ago, didn't see much of a cycle so after a week and a half added the clean up crew, 2 weeks after that got a small pair of ocellaris clowns then as i had some bubble algae i got a mithrax crab, which i think is doing a better job than the other critters, all of the bubble algae and macro algae in these pics has now gone. Looking for some soft corals next.
Some pics of the livestock

The lighting is stock 48w, i changed stock pump for a Maxijet 900.
Chamber 1 has Rowaphos and Purigen with floss on top, chamber 2 has some LR rubble with chaeto on top lit by white LEDs on reverse cycle to main lights. Chamber 3 has 50w heater and the Maxijet.
The chaeto is twice this size now

Thank you for sharing. What kind of LED system is that you are using for lighting your refugium? What is it originally made for? Your tank looks great and You have some really coralline covered LR. I had always heard it was hard to get decent LR in Europe but I guess that the people that made those comments just went to the wrong place to buy it.

Nice start! Do you plan on putting corals in? I see lots of nice places for them :gcool

Skip, the LEDs are from a company here in the UK, they claim to have many uses and are sealed in plastic to make them moisture proof. Got the LR from a LFS, full of life, loads of mini feather dusters, a few bristle worms and a couple of chitons, a stomatella varia and a button polyp.
Angel, i plan to get some brightly coloured zoas and a couple of mushrooms first.
