I have a 10 gallon tank I have converted over to an invert tank. Ive been researching different species to put in it (urchins, crabs, serpentstars) so today I bought from my LFS 2 peppermint shrimp & a lawnmower blenny. What do you think?

What else would be compatable? I would like something "cool" or "colorful". Although I would love to have some corals, its not safe, correct? What about fake corals or live plants like sea grass & such?

Thanks, Kim

get a smaller blenny. the lawnmower is aggressive and hard to keep fed. beginner corals are pretty safe. people usually only have issues when chopping them up without protection. try a Zoanthus. they are easy. just put it on a rock in the light and near the flow. mushrooms may be even easier.

Kim,

Green star polyps are easy and have a pretty green, you could also try some red mushrooms and of course zoos...
