    Yes I did a fresh water dip. I placed distilled water in a ziplock bag, aclimated the bag and the clam in his separate bag, then I put about a tablespoon of baking soda to get the same ph as my tank. I placed him in the fresh water dip for 5 min. and its almost at a full recovery since.

    Hey, I needed to find out what to do if a clam is half out of his shell. I have heard that a fresh water dip is good, but can you do an iodine dip with clams? I am trying to save a teardrop maxima. I am going to try the fresh water dip. heres a BEFORE FOTO. thanks.
