    The 6 Gallon

Well we moved a few months ago from Little Rock to Dallas so I haven't had the tank setup for a while. So finally 2 days ago I set it up again and some live rock to it. Probably today or tomorrow I will get some small blue leg hermits for it to start cleaning the rocks and get my nitrogen cycle...

Yeah It is that stuff...I've been meaning to do that. It came in on that candy cane coral and I had some at one time that just covered my tank which came in somewhere in my sand when I first started it. Thanks for the info...I was wondering how it affected corals.

Yes they are. I know the candy cane has 2 mouths on both of its polyps and the brain is getting closer and closer everyday. Oh and the zoas are growing like crazy.

    The 6 Gallon

Here are the latest pics. I moved the big rock formation to the side and brought it around the tank. Now I have room for all my new guys to sit on the bottom. I just couldn't figure out how to incorporate them into the main structure and still keep it unique.

    The 6 Gallon

Thanks, The tank is to small to supplement and I'd have to do it daily if I do and I can't do that cause I'm not home enough. I change 2 of the 6 gallons weekly.

    10G build questions

Yes it sounds like you are headed in a good direction. You don't really need a protein skimmer for a nano. They will suck more good nutrients out of the water and then you have to start adding more of what you need which can become a nightmare. Marshall

Yes I'm aware of that and will definitely keep the thing in check wherever I put it.

    The 6 Gallon

I purchased a frag of green star polyps the other day. Not sure yet exactly where I want it growing. I've heard you can have it grow on the back glass and it will add a very nice looking background...hmmm

    Hitchhikers

I found a slug and was wondering if he was good or bad and what type he is. I also found this other odd thing that puts out tentacles at night and during the day pulls them back in. Both the slug and the other thing are about the size of an eraser on a pencil. Slug Other thing...

    12 gallon jbj nano

You can put 3 in that system. I'd just put them in slowly so you don't crash your tank. I'd go with nasserius snails instead of turbos since they will actually stir the sand as well.

Wanting to start a 13gal (50 litre) nano...

I'd do 2 powerheads. Clowns would be too big for that tank. Just be sure to use ro/di water. Yeah big tanks can get expensive because of the cost of water changes, lighting, skimmers, filtration and so on. I hope I helped you with your decision. Marshall
