Hello, recently I have had trouble w/ rusty colored sand bed. All of my water changes have been on time as well as my water readings. Last night I changed the old filter my tank came w/ and replaced it charcoal now i have air bubbles all over inside my tank on the sand, rocks driving me crazy...

what type of setup do you have? So it don't hurt if you don't have anything in there? How long has your tank been up? also what type of fuge light are you running? I have a nice sump my buddy gave to me thinking of putting it to work on this tank what do you think?

yes they have been there from the begining. Would it be ok if I used lr from my other tank to replace the bb's

thanks for the input guys, I'm also going to try to clean the pump. It's a factory one that the bio 8 comes with. I also have a rotating attachment for the output, should I install this for more water movement?

my ph is 8.2, nitrite/rate 0, ammonia 0. rodi for water, only feed once a day. I did notice this morning 2 of my snails have been gotten to by 1 of the red hermits. could it be a clean up crew problem not enough. now i believe just down to 2 hermits. thanks Ray

same here Tim. just did a water test ph 7.8, nitrite 0, nitrate 0, ammonia 0. everything good but ph should be a little higher yes....thanks for all the input Tim

thanks Fishy, the live rock I did purchase did have alot of purple coraline on it and very little green here and there. I just turned my lights on to see how things are going and there is a quite of bite of algae on my rocks as well as some sort of substance on my live sand.

I'll do another test did one last monday

nitrates was 0 and tank been up since 5/23

ok I've tested my water and my readings are 0 with the exception of my ph which was 8.2 tank has been running for two weeks at a temp of 76/78. I assuming everything is going good?
