I took all of my sponges out and use poly floss from wal-mart....it's in the craft section $3 a bag and just toss it every week or so.....no problems with nitrates. :lol:

Use Seachem reef buffer to raise ph......You could throw in a damsel.....I suggest a talbot damsel . They are mellow as far as damsels go and they dont turn brown or black when adult size. I hate adding fish I know I will have to remove someday . That means tearing down all the liverock to catch...
