    Bakpak 2R or Remora skimmer

i would for sure use a skimmer, especially if you plan on fish. I have the bakpak, but i have heard that the remora is much better. Either will work fine for a 20 gallon. If it were a bigger tank, I would suggest the remora because it is more efficient.

    DE UV GLASS...

The farthest that i can move it away is a total of 3" from the bottom of the MH reflector. What do you mean "regular" glass? Is regular tempered enough? Do you NEED uv glass? I heard this was the case.

    DE UV GLASS...

Yess...it was suggested to me my a glass shop owner to get tempered glass and then get it tinted. I am going to look into that this weekend. tempered alone doesnt block all UV light...laminated does because of the plastic film in between the two pieces of glass (but laminated glass isnt...

Definetly go with RO water. It is much safer and easier and you will have less algaes like red slime etc.

    What's happening need experts help

I dont know if I am the only one that acclimates this way, but when i first get the fish home, I float the bag and open it to breathe. While it is floating, I attach it to something around the rim of the tank so it doesnt sink and I drip it. I do this by filling a large cup with water from my...

bak pak...can it be used on a sump/fuge?

Is there a way to mod a standard Bak pak 2r so i can use it on a sump/fuge? I have plans on a 20L with a 10-15g fuge undertank (either this one http://www.melevsreef.com/acrylics/sumps/f/sump_f.html or this one http://www.melevsreef.com/acrylics/sump ... del_m.html ). The easiest way, though...

Ive bought 2 fish from tongs with no losses. How are you acllimating them to your tank? As for getting a goby, I wouldnt. I think your tank is plenty stocked as is. Adding another fish would only worsen your nitrate problem.

    10 gallon nano help...

Im sure that is a decent heater, however it is glass. I am a little wary of glass heaters in a salt duedo to the fact that the rock and other stuff can fall and break it. I prefer this heater ----> http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Product/P ... 004+113767 and I know others on this site do, too...
