It's a spring we tosed in to get him to vacate so we could feed. There's a pan with cat food that he's eating out of behind the spring. Needless to say it didn't scare him, we had to wait til he was done eating and leave before we could feed the animals. We've actually have seen him eating...
Well since we have some swapping going on, I thought that it would be appropriate to leave feedback!
I would highly recommend dealing with DJConn! Everything was exactly like he stated and I was very please with the whole transaction!
:D
I think my favorite and the most hard working in my tank is the Astraea Conehead snail. It's smart enough to stay away from the hermits and is constantly changing color with coralline.
Also, this does state that it 'sticks to wet surfaces' and 'adheres to acrylic & glass' This was the information that he took into consideration when he bought it. I don't think he was thinking of the chemical aspect.
My husband came in with a tube of clear silicone this evening, and just wanted to run this past you guys. No where on this tub does it say 100%. It also says mildew resistant which leave me to believe that there are chemicals in this that can be harmful to aquarium inhibitants. The brand is...
Update:
We had to go with the overflow idea, so I went looking for a container to make one and came accross a shower caddy (for bars of soap). It's made of clear acrylic/plastic, my husband is sealing off the bottom to make the drain hole. It already has suction cups, but I believe he is...
I have a toadstool frag that I am willing to trade. I took a cutting off my big toadstool about 2-3 weeks ago and the frag has already form it's own stalk with tenticles out just about all the time, frag is about 1" tall and growing quick! Let me know if you are interested.
I think I've found a solution! The cabinet next to the SW tank has a 30 gallon tank, which currently houses yellow labs (which I'll take to work). With that tank removed, the 10 can be placed with the 5 next to it (just won't be forward facing). Any more tips for making this an effective...
Is it possible to keep a pagoda cup coral in a 10g nano? I would really like to have one, but worried about growth rate. I've seen many people keep them in 20's, but only 1 in a 10 gallon. Interested in all opinions, pro's or con's.
Just went and measured, and both of the tanks can't fit on the stand together. So I guess that the whole idea is at a standstill until/if 10g ever gets moved.
